When we visited Decorex, the UK’s biggest luxury interiors exhibition, last year, one of our favourite finds was Juliet Travers Wallaper and Fabrics.
With a range of exquisite, hand drawn designs, this amazing company is making a name for itself in the world of interiors.
Founded in 2013 by London based designer Juliet, theyhave now launched two collections, Safari and Albion, which feature such a stunning level of detail that they are more like works of art than pieces of wallpaper.
The Safari collection takes you on a journey through East Africa using a palette that compliments the animals and their natural surroundings.
Meanwhile the Albion collection takes inspiration from the flora and fauna of the British Isles.
Cleverly, Juliet has matched Safari to the Farrow and Ball paint colours and Albion to the Little Greene Paint Company, making it incredibly easy to use her gorgeous papers on a feature wall while painting the rest in a coordinating shade.
But then Juliet is a true wallpaper expert, having worked for huge industry names such as Cole and Son and de Gournay after graduating from Edinburgh College of Art.
“I’ve always been very creative and I hand-draw all our designs – starting with an original sketch or idea and then develop them into a repeat design,” explains Juliet.
“I love seeing how a simple drawing can develop into a design – it never ceases to fascinate me. “
Now with a range of coordinating fabric and cushions it couldn’t be easier to introduce her stunning creations into your home.
