The Font Santa Mallorca

As most of us return to work, the chilly commute can seem a bit of a drag, so what better time to start planning your next adventure to a sunnier spot. This week we are plotting our return to The Font Santa Spa in Mallorca, the perfect short-haul destination for a truly luxe resort experience.

The Font Santa Spa Hotel, Campos

The vibe

The perfect short-haul spa destination. This adult only hotel is located on the only thermal spring in the Balearics. The waters are renowned for their skin and mind soothing properties and the Font Santa offers the perfect setting to enjoy them.

The style

Minimalist luxury. The chic décor is understated, with lots of white and neutral linen. The rooms and suites have open plan bathrooms and their own patio or terrace. The whole property has an air of restorative calm.

Spend your days…fontsanta

Enjoying spa treatments before reclining by the calm and relaxed (child free) pool, or in one of the private cabanas dotted throughout the hotel’s tranquil gardens. You can also use the Font Santa as a base to explore old Mallorca. Arta is a must see as is Campos on Market day.  And on the off-chance you tire of the amazingly relaxing pool, Font Santa is just 3km away from Es Trenc, one of the Island’s longest and more beautiful beaches.

…And nights

The Font Santa really has the feel of a luxury resort in the evening, as guests choose to stroll the 100m from their room to the exceptional hotel restaurant, that specialises in natural ingredients and local dishes, before enjoying cocktails in the bar as the sun sets. We also enjoyed exploring some local restaurants in Cala D’or and Porto Colom.

We loved

Lazing by the pool after some fabulous spa treatments and the wonderful cocktail and mocktail menu in the evening.

We found Font Santa made for the perfect baby moon destinations, and it would be ideal for a girls trip to the spa or a relaxing couples break.

When to go

We went in July, so it was hot hot hot, but the cool and relaxed nature of the hotel helped us escape the heat of the day. The Font Santa is also perfect for a short-haul resort holiday in Spring or early Autumn.

Our Edit tips

Enjoy all the hotel has to offer, but do head out and explore the local area. We adored the old world fishing villages such as Porto Colom. This hotel is a million miles from the high rises of Magaluf, and the perfect base to explore the true spirit of Mallorca.

Getting there

The beauty of The Font Santa is just how easy it is to get to from the UK. Easy Jet and British Airways both operate daily flights from London to Palma Mallorca and the hotel is a 30-minute drive from the airport. Room rates vary dependant on size and style with nightly prices starting from €315 in peak season.
