Stylish Ski Wear

Ski feature 1

Skiing is one the best holidays of the year. The beautiful Alpine scenery, the fresh mountain air, the fun of whizzing down the slopes – not to mention the hot chocolate with a dash of Baileys at 11am!

With the season now well underway and my own trip to the slopes coming up soon, I’m starting to plan my what to pack. Here are some go-to brands where you will find everything you need for the perfect skiing wardrobe that is totally functional but also super stylish.

Perfect Moment

If you want to look bright and bang on trend when you hit the slopes then this is the brand to buy. Slightly retro, we really like their use of bold colour and print. The collection includes everything from insulated ski trousers to knitted jumpsuits and we particlary love their sweaters. Swap your dull fleece top for one of their statement knits to instantly update your existing ski outfits.

I discovered this brand while skiing in Austria last year and instantly fell in love with their gorgeous ski wear. It is hands down my favourite with its muted tones of grey and taupe in super stylish cuts. This is sports luxe at it’s best. Their ‘Christie’ salopettes fit perfectly and are incredibly slimming – I hate bulky ski wear. The jackets are neat and fitted and have the option of adding a fur lined hood if you want to some extra warmth. There is no store in the UK but you can ship directly from Austria. This is high end and the price reflects that but these are investment pieces that can be worn season after season.

Topshop Sno

For super stylish but very affordable ski wear look no further than our high street favourite Topshop. Their Sno range is fantastic. And, like all their clothing, it is cheap enough to wear for just one season and then update. We love the monochrome palette.

Pioneering ski wear specialist Kjus was founded by professional racer Lasse Kjus and is championed by Olympic gold medalists. It offers classically stylish, high-tech, ergonomic designs. They have a great colour range too so if you want to be easily spotted on the slopes then try this brand for size.

Sweaty Betty

For base layers with wow factor look no further than Sweaty Betty. Their bright Alpine–chic thermals will keep you looking stylish when you stop for lunch and pop your jacket off in the warm sunshine. Check out their helmets and googles too.

Even the best ski boots start to pinch your feet by the end of the day. So slip into a pair of comfy, cozie boots like these as soon as you come off the slopes.
